One of its unique characteristics is that it requires you to have legal representation any time you purchase residential real estate or use your residential real estate as collateral for a loan. Our office will provide all title services needed to complete the real estate closing. Whether you are a borrower, buyer, or seller, we can provide you with the guidance you need.

  • We walk beside you during the biggest transaction you can make. From the moment you ratify a contract we will guide you through the process and be there for you after closing with any questions you may have.

  • If you are refinancing your home, you have probably already mastered a closing transaction. A refinance is an opportunity to lower your payment, cash out equity in your home for projects or debt repayment, or modify the terms of your loan. Our firm will provide title insurance discounts , if possible, and ensure a smooth closing.

  • Home equity lines (we call them HELOCs) are another tool for using your home equity for other projects. We work closely with you and your lender to insure you understand the nature of a HELOC. We offer title insurance discounts, if possible.

  • Sellers often want their own representation at the closing table. While it is not uncommon for one attorney to represent both parties at closing, we provide additional layer of protection by representing sellers and preparing the necessary documentation for their closing.

  • It is typical that in a purchase or refinance transaction, the lender requires that the client purchase a title insurance policy. We can also provide protection to you as an owner with an owner’s title insurance product suited for you. We strongly encourage all owners to obtain a title insurance policy to best protect their investment! Call us and we can discuss title insurance in more detail.

  • Sometimes you just want to know a little more about your property…. Is there an easement on your property? Does my driveway encroach on my neighbor’s yard? Are there liens that may be on my property as a result of financially difficult times? We can have your title researched to answer your questions.
